As funeral arrangements are in the process of being made for legendary broadcaster Larry Munson, the Munson family has announced a request for donations to a cause in lieu of flowers.

The family asks that contributions be made to the Noah Harris Cheerleading Scholarship Fund, in care of the UGA Athletic Association; P. O. Box 1472, Athens, GA, 30606.

Noah Harris was a former cheerleading captain at the University of Georgia, and a friend of Munson's. He joined the military shortly after the 9/11 attacks, and died in Iraq in 2005 at the age of 23. This scholarship fund is the same one Munson designated profits from his new bobble head doll to go to three years ago.
