Kariem is being remembered as a husband, father and technology teacher at Wesley International Academy.

A full review of the park’s procedures and maintenance of the Goliath roller coaster remains underway.

As the investigation continues, 10 similar rides across six parks in the United States and Canada have also temporarily closed.

Investigators are still working to determine what led to Kariem’s death.
