NORCROSS, GA — A 59-year-old Norcross man has been convicted of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.

Prosecutors say Alejandro Rangel began molesting the child in May 2024. The family eventually noticed the girl’s discomfort around Rangel and contacted police.

Rangel claimed he had only “tickled” the child.

He was sentenced to life in prison plus one year of probation.
