CHAMBLEE, GA — Construction is underway on a new $4.6 million park in the city of Chamblee.

Fish Bolt Park will be located along the Chamblee Rail Trail at Chamblee Tucker Road and is expected to be completed by next summer.

The park will feature a nature play area, mural wall, accessible paths and several public deck spaces. New green space and walking trails will also be included.

The project will add a water feature that provides water quality treatment and supports the city’s stormwater management efforts. Landscaping will also enhance the pond and Chamblee Rail Trail.

During construction, the Chamblee Rail Trail is closed from the construction site through Chamblee Tucker Road. The closure will remain in place until work is completed.
