MARIETTA, GA — A metro Atlanta man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash in North Carolina earlier this year.

Officials say Burton Brinkman, 22, of Marietta, was charged with felony death by vehicle in connection with a crash in Charlotte on May 10.

The crash left Keegan McKenney dead.

Officials say McKenney was a member of the Queens University swim team.

Police officials said Brinkman was operating a vehicle while impaired at the time of the crash.
