Metro Atlanta city launches amnesty program for traffic-related offenses

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — A metro Atlanta city is offering those with unpaid traffic or code violations a temporary break.

Stone Mountain has launched a traffic amnesty program.

The program is designed to allow violators to address unresolved citations in a single visit while waiving “failure to appear” fees that may have accrued.

The program runs through March 31.
