GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The man accused of killing a Gwinnett County police officer earlier this year went before a judge for a motion hearing on Tuesday.

Kevin Andrews, 35, faces a long list of charges in connection with the Feb. 1 fatal shooting of Senior Officer Pradeep Tamang.

The District Attorney has added weapons charges against Andrews.

Andrews is also accused of injuring Master Police Officer David Reed. Reed suffered severe injuries that required multiple surgeries.

The District Attorney has made clear her intention to seek the death penalty.

Andrews now faces an 11-count murder indictment.
