ATHENS, GA — 10 days ago, a Clayton County judge’s gun went off at a restaurant. Three people received minor injuries.
While Superior Court Judge Aaron Mason reached into his pocket to pay for dinner at Señor Bird’s, Athens-Clarke County Police say his Glock 27 pistol went off. A bullet hit the ceiling, sending fragments flying and causing minor injuries. One of the victims is a UGA student who received a cut on his forehead.
