ATHENS, GA — The Georgia Bulldogs improved to 4-0 during the 2026 season thanks to a dominating effort from all three phases in a 41-13 win over the Oklahoma Sooners.

The Bulldogs got out to a 7-0 lead in the first quarter thanks to a conversion on fourth down to keep the drive going.

Georgia extended its lead to 14-0 before the Sooners threatened to cut into the deficit. Oklahoma then fumbled a snap, which the Bulldogs returned 85 yards for a touchdown to make it 21-0.

Georgia later took a commanding 28-0 lead into halftime. The Sooners got on the board with a touchdown in the third quarter to make it 28-6, with the ensuing two-point conversion attempt failing.

The Bulldogs answered with a field goal to extend the lead to 31-6 before Dwight Phillips Jr. broke loose for a 54-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter, making it 38-6.

Chauncey Bowens scored two rushing touchdowns for Georgia, while Talyn Taylor had a touchdown reception. The Bulldogs also forced four Oklahoma turnovers.

Georgia entered the game averaging 59.3 points per game and 539 yards of total offense.

The Sooners scored a touchdown with under 3:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, but the Bulldogs held on for the 41-13 win. The Bulldogs forced several turnovers.

The Bulldogs will take on the Vanderbilt Commodores next week at home. The game time is to be determined.
