FULTON COUNTY, GA — Fulton County Schools is inviting families and community members to share their feedback Tuesday evening as the district considers potential changes to elementary school attendance boundaries, including possible school consolidations or closures.
The district is reviewing four elementary schools: Esther Jackson, Hembree Springs, Mimosa and Vickery Mill.
School officials are evaluating student enrollment, building capacity and current attendance zones to determine whether changes may be needed.
Potential options under consideration include redrawing attendance boundaries, combining schools or closing certain facilities.
District officials say community feedback will help guide future recommendations aimed at meeting the needs of students and their families.
No final decisions have been made regarding attendance zone changes, consolidations or closures.
Discussions involving Fulton County’s middle schools will take place through a separate review process.
Tuesday’s community forum begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Roswell High School gymnasium.
