GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A former Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy along with another individual are facing multiple charges in a child molestation case.
Butts County sheriff’s office said Rylee Connor Willis was arrested on Sept. 15 at his home on Dean Patrick Road. Willis faces charges of rape, aggravated sodomy, statutory rape, child molestation, aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
Abigail Elaine Davidson was also arrested and charged for trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, cruelty to children, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and party to a crime of child molestation.
Authorities believe Willis committed some of the alleged offenses during his time as a Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy. Prior to this arrest, he was arrested in January 2026 in a separate investigation for alleged child molestation.
There have been several additional victims found connected to the case.
The investigation remains ongoing.
