CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — A deputy who was initially placed on administrative leave during an internal investigation into allegations that he created a Facebook page to harass a woman he arrested has now been fired.
Corporal Charles Mills arrested Natasha Lopez in 2025 after entering her home without a proper search warrant last year.
After the incident, officials say Lopez used her social media page “Natasha Noble” to share details of the case and challenge the arrest, arguing it was unconstitutional.
Mills is then accused of creating an anonymous Facebook page called “Not so Noble” that targeted Lopez by posting personal information and AI generated material about her.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office says they have determined there is sufficient evidence to terminate Mills for violation of the code of conduct.
The page has since been deleted, officials said.
The investigation is ongoing.
