Contractor fatally shot at Norfolk Southern facility in metro Atlanta

AUSTELL, GA — Cobb County Police are searching for a suspect after a deadly shooting at the Norfolk Southern railyard in Austell.

Police responded to the facility on Dr. Luke Glenn Garrett Jr. Memorial Highway late Monday evening after reports of a shooting.

Officials identified the victim as 27-year-old Curdravious Clark. Police say Clark was working at the facility as a contractor.

Police say the suspect or suspects later drove off in a vehicle.

The investigation remains active.
