GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A new rabies case has been reported in the metro Atlanta area.

Gwinnett County officials say a female cat tested positive after attacking two people this week near the 4300 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross.

Gwinnett County health officials are advising residents to stay away from animals showing unusual behavior.

All pet owners should make sure their pets are up-to-date on their rabies vaccination.
