ATLANTA — Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help finding two young sisters who investigators believe were abducted by their babysitter early Monday morning.
A LEVI’S Call has been issued for 4-year-old Zola Cooper and 11-month-old Norah Cooper. The girls were last seen near the intersection of Jones Avenue and James P. Brawley Drive in northwest Atlanta.
Police believe the girls’ caretaker, Lakesha Brown, abducted the sisters from the 300 block of James P. Brawley Drive.
The GBI has joined Atlanta police in the search for the children. Investigators believe Brown may be traveling with the girls in a white Ford F-350 with Alabama tag 1C087Y4.
Both girls are Black. Zola was last seen wearing a multicolored dress, while Norah was wearing a pink onesie. Police say Norah is also missing two fingers on her right hand.
Anyone with information about the girls’ whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the GBI tip line.
