ATLANTA — An arrest has been made in connection with a deadly shooting inside the Old Fourth Ward Park in Atlanta on Saturday.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Angier Avenue NE just before 5 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say 26-year-old Alexander Kelly faces murder and aggravated assault charges.

Police say Kelly did not know the victim.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Kelly is now in the Fulton County Jail.
