ATLANTA — Airbnb is introducing new rules for hosts, limiting the chores they can require guests to complete before checking out.

According to Airbnb’s website, under the new policy, hosts cannot require guests to wash and put away dishes, strip beds, start a load of laundry. Hosts also cannot require guests to take garbage off-site and avoid using a listed amenity.

However, hosts are still allowed to request that guests place used dishes in the sink, gather used towels and sort trash and recycling into designated indoor bins.

According to Airbnb officials, the new policy will apply to reservations booked on or after Nov. 20th.
