POWDER SPRINGS, GA — A 15-year-old boy is facing a murder charge after police say he shot and killed an 18-year-old in Powder Springs.

Officers responding to Mustang Drive found 18-year-old British Hart suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the 15-year-old suspect has been charged with murder and is being prosecuted as an adult.

The teenager is currently being held at the Cobb Youth Detention Center without bond.

The Powder Springs Police Department has turned the investigation over to the Cobb County Police Department.
