11-year-old DeKalb girl makes hundreds of masks to give out to homeless

11-year-old mask maker 11-year-old Holli Morgan is making hundreds of masks to help the homeless community.

A DeKalb County girl is worried that some people could be forgotten during this pandemic, and she is determined to help.

Holli Morgan is a little girl who thinks big.

“I have 574 masks in total. My goal is 1,200 masks,” Holli said.

It’s pandemic protection. The 11-year old is a seamstress. She has taken lessons and now has put her skills to work.

“This little girl just wanted to help. She’s a little girl who wanted to be part of something big. None of us really knew how big it would go,” her mother April McMillian said.
