COWETA COUNTY, GA — One person is in custody after a woman was found shot to death in Coweta County.

Coweta County Sheriff’s Office deputies found a woman unresponsive inside an apartment on Lakeside Way.

It is unclear if the person in custody and the victim had any relationship.

The identity of the victim and person in custody have not been released.

The shooting remains under investigation.
