Janelle Monáe is expressing admiration for a "lipstick lover" in a new song dropping Friday. The star announced the single via a clip in which she sings part of the track over the sounds of an acoustic guitar.

“I’ll take my time/ Just wanna feel your hips on mine/ I really got a thing for my lipstick lover, lover, lover, lover/ I’d do anything for my lipstick lover, lover, lover, lover/ I really got a thing for my lipstick lover," Janelle sings.

The camera then cuts to a clip of the singer coming out of a pool wearing black shorts and a wet T-shirt with the word "pleasure" on the chest. It then reveals the title of the song, "Lipstick Lover," and its release date, May 11.

"Lipstick Lover" will follow the release of Janelle's single "Float," which dropped back in February.
