The AJC asks alumni at Clark Atlanta University's 2017 homecoming why they chose to attend an HBCU and why they would recommend the experience.

Football season is half over. Which is a good thing at HBCUs. 

That means that Homecoming season has arrived. 

The annual festival of colors, tailgates, fly outfits, Greeks and step shows. 

Where in some cases, how the band did at halftime is more important than the actual football game.

But we didn’t ask one key question? 

Who has the best homecoming? We will let you decide.
