Daylight Saving Time 2018: Maine and Massachusetts getting closer to ditching DST

According to Good Morning America, there are at least two U.S. states hoping to get rid of the tradition of re-setting our clocks twice a year.

Floridians will be enjoying the sunshine longer after the senate passed a bill approving year-round Daylight Saving Time for the sunshine state. On the other hand Maine and Massachusetts want to ditch the old tradition altogether for the Atlantic Standard Time.

As for now, In Atlanta we set our clocks forward one hour at 2 a.m. on March 11.
