Do you know an Unsung Hero?
In honor of the outstanding achievements of unsung heroes in the African American community, Ford Motor Company and The National Center for Civil and Human Rights invite you to nominate a hero in your community for the inaugural Ford Freedom Unsung Hero awards. The awards will be given to outstanding members of the Atlanta African American community in five categories: education, military, community youth, and non-profit organizations.
Nominations are due by October 31 and the details are available at www.civilandhumanrights.org. Honorees will be recognized at a special, high-profile reception held in Atlanta on December 7.
