Marshawn Lynch is making headlines this week for getting candid about a ritual he would go through before taking the field.

“The former NFL running back told Peyton Manning on his ESPN show ‘Peyton’s Places’ that he would drink Hennessey before games,” Fox News reports. “The clip was released Sunday.”

“My superstition was that I needed to have maybe a shot … a shot and half ... before every game,” he said.

When Manning asked what would he shoot, Lynch responded, “Hennessey.”

TMZ Sports noted that having alcohol in NFL locker rooms is against the league’s conduct policy.
