As BET’s Moriba Cummings points out -- Tiny Harris and her husband, rapper T.I., have had their ‘ups and downs’ over the years, but they’ve stuck together through it all.

During a recent appearance on T.I.’s podcast “ExpediTIously,” the Xscape member got candid about some advice her former bandmate Kandi Burruss' mother, Mama Joyce, gave her when they were teens.

"I will never forget, when I was about 16, 15 years old, aunt Joyce, Kandi's mama, told me don't marry for love," she said during the interview, adding, "Marry for...Security."

Tiny and T.I. have been together for more than 20 years, BET reports,  and have been married for almost 10.
