Some fans criticize ‘SNL' writers for ‘Tourism Board of Africa’ skit (video)

“Saturday Night Live” received backlash over a sketch in which Adele, Kate McKinnon and Heidi Gardner play divorcees vacationing in Africa.

Adele couldn’t help but break character during the ‘Tourism Board of Africa’ skit on ‘SNL’ last Saturday. According to Insider, some fans loved the sketch and thought Adele laughing and breaking character was one of the best moments of the night. But others thought “SNL” writers were “fetishizing” African men. Read more here.
