Two sisters, 4-year-old Zola Cooper and 11-month-old Norah Cooper are safe after being subjects of a critical amber alert.
Their babysitter, 42-year-old Lakesha Brown, was taken into custody after investigators received information that Brown may have been staying in a trailer on the property.
Officers heard a baby crying inside when they arrived.
Brown is linked to a similar kidnapping case involving a newborn five years ago.
Investigators say she had known the girls’ mother for about a year. There were communications indicating Brown would return the children, but she didn’t.
