The clip received over two million views on Instagram and tons of love in the comments. Chance the Rapper, who will be featured on the track, wrote, "Geez," while fellow R&B singer Justine Skye wrote, "LET['s] GOOOOO! I see you, queen."
Many may remember Destiny from her lead role on Lee Daniels' award-winning musical drama, Star, which ran for three seasons on Fox. The show, which premiered in 2016, focused on a female trio of singers, navigating the highs and lows of the music industry in Atlanta. In the late 2019, the 25-year-old joined the cast of Freeform's Grown-ish and announced her upcoming role in the boxing drama, Flint Strong, alongside Ice Cube.
