The iconic R&B group is widely credited with shaping the modern boy band blueprint, but when the final inductees were announced, New Edition’s name was notably absent from the list.

This year’s class includes Phil Collins, Sade, Oasis, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Luther Vandross, and the Wu-Tang Clan.
