Jury selection has started and Duane “Keffe D” Davis is set to face a jury in Las Vegas over the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur
Prosecutors accuse Davis of orchestrating the drive-by shooting that killed Tupac after a fight involving members of his group and Tupac’s entourage.
Keffe D has publicly claimed he knows who pulled the trigger. It is believed that his nephew Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson shot and killed Tupac after he was jumped in a hotel after a Mike Tyson fight. Davis has pleaded not guilty and has repeatedly denied being the shooter.
Former Death Row Records boss Suge Knight, who was in the car with Tupac when the shooting happened, is expected to testify.
In a recent interview, Keffe D said neither him nor his nephew had anything to do with Tupac’s murder.
