Imagine being told you have one week to live and you can either go to Hospice or get a double lung transplant.

We’ve known for some time that Grammy-winning R&B singer Muni Long had Lupus. When she pulled out as one of the opening acts on ‘The Boy is Mine Tour’ with Brandy and Monica, we knew it was serious. She had pneumonia.

Now, the 37-year-old tells Good Morning America that doctors then advised her that her situation was dire and that she needed surgery to survive.
