The producer of the upcoming fifth -- and final -- installment of the ‘Lethal Weapon’ series has reportedly revealed Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are on board.

Yahoo! Entertainment reports Dan Lin was speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about his new movie "The Two Popes" when he dropped the bombshell.

Yahoo! says Lin added that Richard Donner, the now 89-year-old director of the original movies, will be part of the fifth movie too.

“We're trying to make the last Lethal Weapon movie. And Dick Donner's coming back,” Lin reportedly said, adding, “The original cast is coming back. And it's just amazing.

“The story itself is very personal to him. Mel and Danny are ready to go, so it's about the script.”
