Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s widow, Tenisha Warner, is suing his mother (the executive of his estate) for 1.2 million dollars. She claims Malcolm made a number of promises that he didn’t keep and she wants her cut.

But in the meantime, a friend says the late actor’s widow has “stretched every resource she has” while caring for their 9-year-old daughter and navigating his estate, so she has started a gofundme.

Destiny Rael, who says she introduced Tenisha to Malcolm started the gofundme with a goal of $150,000 to support Tenisha as she continues navigating the legal battle involving his estate.

She says, “I am organizing this campaign because I have witnessed, up close, the depth of Tenisha’s grief and the weight she has had to carry. I know she would never ask for this kind of support herself, so I am asking on her behalf.”
