The list of cities to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention has been narrowed down and Atlanta is no longer on it.

Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists to host. Atlanta and Chicago, who were finalists for 2024 convention, have been removed from consideration.

The last time Atlanta hosted the Democratic National Convention was 1988, Boston in 2004, Denver in 2008 and Philadelphia in 2016.
