Denzel Washington’s ‘Roman J. Israel, Esq.’ film brought in $65k

The release of the american legal drama film Roman J. Israel, Esq. starring Denzel Washington earned $65k from four theaters over the weekend.

"We expect awards attention for Denzel's transformative performance, which will give the film legs through the holiday season and beyond," Columbia Pictures said (Via Deadline.com).

The movie will be expanded next week into 1,500 theaters in time for the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.
