50 Cent weighs in on R&B singer Tank’s controversial podcast interview

50 Cent is getting in on the controversy stirred up over R&B singer Tank’s recent statements made on Angela Yee’s “Lip Service” podcast.

The rapper reportedly took to Instagram to troll Tank over his candid comments.

50 Cent’s comment is just one of many on social media discussing Tank’s controversial statements.

BET.com reported earlier this week that Yee, joined by co-hosts Stephanie Santiago, GiGi Maguire, and Lore’l, began the interview with a discussion on the “myriad of excuses men will come up with when they know they are in the wrong.”

When asked whether he thought her ex -- who per Yee’s description was a “terrible liar” -- was in the wrong, Tank replied, “He’s not a liar. He just lied twice.”

Yee then fired back, asking, ‘wouldn’t that then make you a liar for, you know, lying?’

That is when the conversation took a sharp turn, with Yee expanding on her question and asking Tank whether a man engaging in man-on-man ‘action’ would define his sexuality.

Tank disagreed, affirming it does not “necessarily make a man gay” if he performs sex acts on another man one time, BET.com reports. “Although, he did admit ‘twice [would be] excessive,’” BET’s Danielle Ransom adds.

“It doesn’t mean he’s gay,” Tank said of a hypothetical one-time sex act between a man and another man. “The art of being gay is being gay. It’s a continuous state of being.”
