Cardi B is receiving mixed responses after posting an explosive Instagram video, in which she slams a media outlet for allegedly using her daughter Kulture as “clickbait.”
Yahoo! Entertainment's Mike Walters writes that the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper was so upset over reports claiming her daughter calls someone else 'mommy,' she said she hoped the mother of the person behind the story's posting "catches HIV/AIDS."
Cardi took to Instagram last week to address a story that was recently posted online, which Yahoo's Mike Walters says uses a clip of her during an entertainment show interview.
Cardi reportedly took issue with the way the interview was edited and “accused the outlet of ‘chopping’ it down and using her child as ‘clickbait,’” Walters writes.
When asked how she balances her career and home life, the rapper explains she gave a two-minute answer to the outlet, emphasizing how she takes time out for her daughter, despite being busy with work appointments.
Walters reports that Cardi claims the clip then made its way to YouTube with the subject line: “Cardi admits that Culture calls someone else mommy.”
In her response video on Instagram last week, Cardi slammed the interviewer, saying she would "spit" at the interviewer if she ever sees them again.
According to Yahoo's Walters, that is when she added, "I hope your mom catch AIDS."
