In a quick turn-around, Madame Noire reports Brian McKnight has responded to his children's claims that he has abandoned them.
McKnight posted a video on Instagram this past weekend to tell his side of the story and "admitted that his relationships with his children [Brian McKnight Jr. and Briana McKnight] are strained," Madame Noire's Tanay Hudson writes. However, the 50-year-old singer says it is not because he did not want to be a part of their lives.
Titled ‘Today’s Nonsense,’ the Instagram video begins with McKnight by calling the claims made against him “heinous.”
“I guess one of my only faults is that I gave my children everything I didn’t have in hopes that they would appreciate it because I know how much I would’ve appreciated it when I was their age,” McKnight adds in the seven-minute-long video.
