The Amazon Prime same-day delivery service will be available in Charlotte, Cincinnati, Fresno, Louisville, Milwaukee, Nashville, Raleigh, Richmond, Sacramento, Stockton and Tucson for customers using the company’s website and the mobile app on qualifying orders over $35.

Service will also expand in areas where it's already offered, including central New Jersey, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles and San Diego.

The service will remain unchanged in other cities in which it is currently available, including Atlanta, Boston, Orlando and Seattle.

“We keep making Prime better, and as our operational capabilities grow, we will continue to invent and expand delivery options that customers love,” said Greg Greeley, Amazon’s vice president of Prime, in a statement.

Per the terms and conditions, Amazon Prime promises to deliver members any orders that are made before the cutoff time, typically noon, by 9 p.m. local time.

An Amazon Prime membership is $99. Members also get access to streamed movies, TV shows and Amazon-original productions.

About 1 million items are available for same-day delivery, compared to nearly 30 million products if a customer uses Amazon's two-day delivery option available to non-Prime members.

Amazon also offers one-hour and two-hour delivery on tens of thousands of items for Prime members via its Prime Now mobile app program, which is available in 25 cities.
