Project Overcoat Combats Cold with Donated Coats and Blankets
Project Overcoat will provide thousands of new and gently used coats and blankets to men, women, and children in need.
This annual event is sponsored by Atlanta Mission, FOX5, KISS 104, Federal Express, Kroger Supermarkets and the United Way of Metro Atlanta. The Atlanta Mission is a non-denominational Christian ministry that provides emergency shelter and long-term recovery programs as many as 1,062 men, women, and children every day of the year.
Donations of coats and blankets will be accepted at all metro-area Kroger Supermarket locations. Volunteers will sort coats at the Bulldog Movers Facility, located at 4194 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, GA 30340. Coats and blankets will be distributed to local non-profit agencies, including The Atlanta Mission.
