Norma Joy Barnes, CEO of the Community Council of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc. (CCMA) and founder of the Priority Male Initiative, stated, “The plight of young African American men has been widely proclaimed by the media, human rights activists, community leaders, and the general public. Young men between the ages of 18 – 28 have found themselves in the center of this controversy, but their voices are not being heard. We want them to tell us how they feel and what they need to overcome the odds they face in our society. Their conversations must be heard.”
