Myke Julius

Myke Julius began his life in music, like most musicians…in his heart and soul.

From playing the family broom at the tender age of 4 to maturing into a seasoned bass guitarist taught by the American music legend James Jamerson as well as Larry Graham and Keni Burke.

“Besides James Jamerson, I was humbled to work with and learn from one of the

“Master Architects” of The Motown Sound, the late Norman Whitfield;”  Recording and playing for Edwin Starr, The Undisputed Truth, the late James Cleveland, the Emotions and Ike and Tina Turner to name just a few.

Myke Julius’ radio career began in Chicago at WVAZ V103 and his passion for a “Love Song” has won the hearts of listeners in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C., Dallas and Chicago

“I believe it is my mission in life to keep up front in our conscious minds “the power in the spirit in a love song,”

Myke Julius has been a consistent winner in varied mediums of mass communication. Whether it’s via commercial radio, music or its related promotions.

His strength as a viable major market radio personality is the inevitable result of a style and skill honed sharp by years in the trenches and hands on experience; and by being on front line of public interaction.

Listen to Myke Julius every Sunday night starting at 8pm as he hosts Slow Jamz on KISS 104.
