Trayvon Martin Round-table

Wednesday April 11th, following George Zimmerman being charged with 2nd degree murder, KISS 104 had a round-table discussion live on-air about the latest developments in the Trayvon Martin case.  We discussed what does that mean for the family, the supporters and ultimately justice for Trayvon?  Kiss104's Veronica Waters, Jennifer Keitt and WSB Radio's Condace Pressley hosted the round-table with special guests and your calls.  If you missed it, listen here

Twanda Black

You know her as Twanda Black, the Host of "Good News Gospel" weekday mornings from 4am-5:30am just before the "Tom Joyner Morning Show" and every Sunday from 7am to 12 noon , but there is much more to the Tampa native. She is a mother of two young men, an ordained minister, a published writer, an avid reader and an amateur photographer. Twanda is also the Public Affairs Director for KISS 1041.1 fm where she serves as the liaison between the station and the community and hosts the public affairs talk show “Business in the Black” every Sunday from 5am-7am. Twanda loves that she gets to use her Public Relations/Communications degree earned at Berry College on a daily basis. "I love interacting with different people and organizations, it makes for interesting days," says Black. T wanda volunteers her time and talent to various organizations, but her heart belongs to issues of the elderly, such as long term care, conditions of nursing homes and quality of life. She can be found in and around Georgia hosting ceremonies, parties, shows, church events, awards dinners and other benevolent causes. She was recently honored as one of Atlanta’s Top 100 Women of Influence by the Atlanta Business League. Twanda is spreading her wings to television and is working on her first show on the Christian Television Network.

Charlie Wilson

As lead singer for the Gap Band, Charlie Wilson sang on four number one R&B hits: "Burn Rubber (Why You Wanna Hurt Me)," "Early in the Morning," "Outstanding," and "Addicted to Your Love" -- as well as the classics "You Dropped a Bomb on Me," "Yearning for Your Love," "Party Train," and "Big Fun."
