Cats on the catwalk? Fierce felines strut their stuff at charity fashion show

A group of fierce feline fashionistas got a chance to show off their supermodel style last week at the annual Cat Fashion Show at New York's Algonquin Hotel.

According to Vanity Fair, this year's event – a fundraiser for the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals and New York's first responders – featured cats dressed as firefighters, nurses and other civil servants.

The show reportedly began in the 1930s as a tribute to Matilda, the hotel's "cat-in-residence." Today, Algonquin's third Matilda walks the halls.

Want to own a piece of television history? The home of "Breaking Bad" character Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul, has hit the market for $1.6 million, Mashable reports.

According to the listing on the Breaking Bad House website, the 3,500-square-foot home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, features four bedrooms, original wood floors, stone fireplaces and a gourmet kitchen.

"Meth lab not included," the listing reads.

Jokes also abound on the house's Facebook page.

"I know what you're asking yourself ... 'Has the tub been replaced?'" reads one status update, referring to a scene where Pinkman poured acid on a body in the bathtub. "The answer is 'Yes. Yes, it has.'"

The luxury hybrid Tesla brand is looking to turn its brand up a few notches, literally.

According to Ars Technica, Telsa CEO and founder Elon Musk announced on a press call Friday that a "ludicrous mode" will be available as an enhancement to the automaker's Model S.

"Ludicrous mode" is a $10,000 enhancement that will take the car from 0 to 60 MPH in 2.8 seconds, which makes it a half-second faster than the McLaren F1, according to Ars.

As for the inspiration? "We are just trying to make awesome cars,” Musk said, according to MarketWatch.

Tesla Model S owners can also pay an additional $3,000 for a 90 kWh battery, which is an upgrade from its standard 85 kWh unit, according to Ars. The change adds an additional 15 miles of range at the 65 MPH speed level.
